ep 8.3 - Lisa Ray: Parents For Ethical Marketing

May 4, 2008

This week’s episode is with Ariah Fine interviewing Lisa Ray from the blog Corporate Babysitter. Ariah and Lisa talk about ethics and marketing and consumerism and how they’re all intertwined in a system geared towards influencing our children. If you’re a parent, want to be a parent, expecting to be a parent . . . I wouldn’t miss this episode for anything.

You can find Lisa’s blog at Corporate Babysitter - Parents For Ethical Marketing.

Links to blog post covered in the interview: 1) Baby Einstein site revamp, 2) Media conferences in Minneapolis, 3) The Campaign for Commercial Free Childhood

Correction: The reference to FCC in the interview is supposed to be concerning the FTC.

And remember you can buy Ariah’s new book here or here.
